FinishStrong Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Lockson Holdings, LLC collects, uses, stores, and handles information in connection with the FinishStrong mobile application. FinishStrong is a product name only and is not a separate legal entity.

This policy is intentionally narrow and describes only the data practices that actually occur in the app.

1. Who We Are

FinishStrong is an iOS training plan application distributed through the Apple App Store.

2. What FinishStrong Does

FinishStrong generates personalized running training plans based on information you provide, including movement context, training availability, and feedback after workouts. The app uses this information to adjust future workouts through automated, rules based logic.

FinishStrong is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

3. Information You Provide in the App

FinishStrong processes information you voluntarily enter into the app, including:

Training Profile Information

FinishStrong processes limited onboarding information you provide to generate an initial training plan, including:

• Recent movement context: One selection describing recent activity level:
  • I have not really been active
  • I have been walking
  • I have done some short runs
• Running history (shown only if short runs are selected):
  • I stop after a while
  • I get hurt or sore and back off
  • I am in and out and never quite consistent
• Current sensitivities:
  • Nothing specific
  • Old injury or recurring soreness
  • I just want to be extra cautious
• Available training days: Specific days of the week selected, typically two to four days
• Medical safety acknowledgment: A one time confirmation that the app is not medical advice and users should consult a healthcare professional if needed

Post Workout Feedback

After each workout, FinishStrong collects simple feedback to guide future plan adjustments, including:

• Perceived effort: How did that feel: Easy, Right, or Hard
• Energy level: Fresh, A bit tired, or Dragging
• Confidence level: Ready, Unsure, or Hesitant
• Physical signals: None, Minor, or Concerning
• Workout completion status:
  • Completed as planned
  • Stopped early when the workout was more than 20 percent shorter than planned
  • Went longer when the workout was more than 20 percent longer than planned
• Overage acknowledgment: When a workout runs long, users indicate whether it felt good or whether they intend to stick to the plan next time

Behavioral Information

FinishStrong records limited behavioral signals related to workout execution, including:

• Workout completion status
• Actual workout duration compared to the planned duration

No reasons for skipping workouts are collected, and no long term adherence scoring or consistency metrics are maintained.

4. How Your Data Is Stored

All training, workout, and fitness-related data is stored on your device. If you use iCloud, your data may sync across your personal devices through your own iCloud account.

Lockson Holdings does not receive, access, or store this data on company servers.

5. Device Permissions

FinishStrong may request access to certain device features to provide app functionality:

• Notifications: Used to remind you of scheduled workouts
• Location services during workouts: Used to measure distance during a run

Location data is processed on device. Only total distance is stored. Exact GPS coordinates are not retained and are not transmitted off the device.

All permissions are optional and can be managed through your device settings. If permissions are disabled, some features may not function as intended.

6. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

FinishStrong offers an optional paid subscription (FinishStrong+). All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Lockson Holdings, LLC does not collect, receive, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID credentials.

The app caches your subscription status locally on your device so it can determine which features to enable. This cached status includes the subscription tier and expiration date only. No payment or billing information is stored by the app.

If you use iCloud, your subscription status cache may sync across your personal devices through your own iCloud account. Lockson Holdings does not have access to this data.

7. Health and Fitness Data Clarification

FinishStrong processes fitness related information solely to generate training plans.

• The app is not a medical professional
• The app does not provide medical advice
• Training adjustments are automated and rules based
• No diagnoses, treatment decisions, or medical recommendations are made

You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning or modifying any exercise program.

8. Analytics

FinishStrong uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve the experience. This service collects anonymous usage data such as which screens are viewed, which features are used, and general app interaction patterns.

What is collected:

• Anonymous event data (e.g., workout started, plan created, feature tapped)
• Device type, operating system version, and app version
• General usage patterns and session information

What is NOT collected:

• Your name, email address, or Apple ID
• Workout details, training plan data, or post-run feedback
• Location data or GPS coordinates
• Payment or subscription details

Analytics data is not linked to your identity. It is used solely to understand aggregate usage patterns, improve app features, and support advertising efforts. Data is retained for 14 months and then automatically deleted.

You can limit analytics collection by enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" in your device settings.

Limited local logging also occurs for development and debugging purposes only. This information remains on the device.

9. Security

FinishStrong uses reasonable technical safeguards designed to protect information stored within the app on your device.

Because all data is stored locally, the security of your information depends in part on your device settings, passcode, and operating system protections. Lockson Holdings, LLC does not have access to your locally stored training data.

10. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information.

Data is shared only in the following limited circumstances:

• As required to comply with applicable law or legal process

11. Data Retention and Deletion

Because FinishStrong stores data locally:

• Your data remains on your device unless you delete it
• Deleting the app removes locally stored data from that device

Lockson Holdings, LLC cannot access or delete your training data on your behalf.

12. Your Choices and Controls

You control your data through:

• What information you enter into the app
• Device level permissions
• App deletion

13. Children's Privacy

FinishStrong is rated 9+ on the Apple App Store. The app is not designed specifically for children and is intended to be used with appropriate supervision.

FinishStrong does not knowingly collect personal information from children for server side processing or storage. All data entered into the app remains stored locally on the user's device.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are made, the updated version will be made available within the app or through the App Store listing.
